To the Editor:
I am thankful that we have a president, a vice president and a governor who are pro-life and are not afraid to stand up for life by supporting the defunding of Planned Parenthood.
I was thrilled to hear the good news that Planned Parenthood is going to close four abortion clinics in Iowa, including one in Bettendorf. It can’t happen soon enough! It has been blight on our area for years. Maybe now we can all enjoy life as it should be lived, without the gloom and doom of abortion in the area.
Their closure reminds me of the liberation of the Nazi concentrations camps of years ago. Just think of all the little babies’ lives that will be saved from abortion and all the mothers’ minds, hearts and souls that will be at peace. These clinics have not been in “business” to offer health services. They destroy lives!
We need to keep praying and working to close the eight remaining “abortion camps” in Iowa and may this holy trend spread to all the states in America and around the world. We will not have peace in the world until abortion is abolished.
