This winter sports season, Assumption’s wrestling team set a school record by sending 12 wrestlers to compete in the 2A state tournament — Topher Carton, Brody Grothus, Andrew Riley, Bradley Grothus, Grant Rosenboom, Eric Clarke, Tommy Argo, Tony Devriese, Kyle Springer, Nick Georgean, Thomas Reyhons and Tyler Swope.
In addition to this school record, both Topher Carton and Brody Grothus brought home state titles, and just one week later, Assumption’s wrestling team brought home a state duals title. Congratulations to all the wrestlers.
