Davenport — A healing Mass will be celebrated June 18 at Sacred Heart Cathedral at 10th and Iowa streets. The theme will be healing of marriages and families. Confessions begin at 6 p.m.; praise music begins at 6:45 p.m. and Mass begins at 7:15 p.m.


Davenport — The Sisters of Humility invite the general public to pray with them at 11:40 a.m. Wednesdays during a special Mass for peace. It will be celebrated in the Magnificat Chapel at the Humility of Mary Center, 820 W. Central Park Ave.

Iowa City — People meet to pray the rosary and receive Communion at 1 p.m. Wednesdays at Melrose Meadows Retirement Community. All Catholics are welcome.

Iowa City — Centering Prayer groups meet from 7-8 p.m. Mondays at the Mercy Hospital chapel, and from 9-11:30 a.m. the fourth Saturday of each month at a member’s home. For more information, call Maureen Kelley at (319) 338-8284.

Lost Nation — Msgr. Marvin Mottet will preside at a healing Mass at Sacred Heart Church June 19. Reconciliation will begin at 6 p.m.; praise music will begin at 6:30 p.m., and Mass will begin at 7 p.m.

Melrose — The Knights of Columbus of Albia sponsor a 24-hour adoration the first Friday of the month at St. Patrick Church in Melrose. Moline, Ill. — Christ Child Society, Quad-Cities Chapter, will hold a pinning ceremony for members during the 8:30 a.m. Mass June 20 at Sacred Heart Parish in Moline, Ill. Brunch will follow. The Christ Child Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children in need in our community. The Quad-Cities Chapter currently works with Trinity hospitals and the Women’s Choice Center in Bettendorf.

Davenport — Our Lady of Victory Church at West 42nd and Division streets will hold its Huge Rummage Sale June 18 and 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and June 20 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Davenport — Youths at Our Lady of Victory Parish will hold a car-wash fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity June 27. They will wash cars at the West Kimberly Hy-Vee from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and at the East 53rd Hy-Vee from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donors may pledge money ahead of time through www.carwashforhumanity.org.

Hills — St. Joseph Church will host a farmers’ market every Saturday beginning June 6 from 8 a.m. to noon in the church parking lot. Vendors may call (319) 679-2271 to reserve a space. No fee is required, but donations are appreciated.

Knoxville — St. Anthony’s Heritage Festival and auction will be held June 28 after 10:30 a.m. Mass.
