Thanks for Memorial Day Mass

As Grand Knight of the Bettendorf Council 3304 I would like to thank everybody who took part in the Memorial Day Mass that was at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Davenport.

A special thanks goes to the Boy Scouts who provided the color guard. I also thank the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree in regalia and all the priests and deacons who took part in the Mass.

Extra-special thanks goes to Father Mike Spiekermeier, Ron Brune and all from the Davenport council who planned the Mass; to our wonderful Bishop Martin Amos who was the main celebrant; to the people who provided the music and to all who joined us.

I personally feel the practice needs to be carried on.
