DAVENPORT — Bishop Robert Gruss of Rapid City, S.D., will be the keynote speaker at four sessions of the parish renewal at St. Anthony Parish March 12-15. This year’s renewal theme is “Stewardship: Reclaiming Our True Identity.”
Each 90-minute session will begin with music and prayer at 7 p.m. in the church, followed by Bishop Gruss’ reflections and Q&A, then finish with refreshments and social time in the parish center (417 N. Main St.). A free-will offering will be collected at each session.
Bishop Gruss was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Davenport in 1994. He was ordained Bishop of the Diocese of Rapid City, S.D., in 2011.
