The Ss. Stephen and Phebe Deacon Council elected officers at the Deacon Convocation held Oct. 17-18.
According to the bylaws, Deacon Dennis McDonald assumed the position of president, having served as vice-president. He is a member of Ss. Mary & Mathias Parish-Muscatine.
Deacon Michael Moetsch was elected as vice president. He is a member of Our Lady of the River Parish-LeClaire. Deacon Robert Glaser will assume the position of secretary. He is a member of Ss. John & Paul Parish-Burlington. Deacon Tony Mouzon will become treasurer of the council. He is a member of Ss. Mary & Mathias Parish-Muscatine. Each will serve a two-year term.
