Davenport — A Bishop’s Mass for Scouting will take place at Sacred Heart Cathedral Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. All scouts, leaders and families and friends of scouting are invited. Scouts invited included Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts, Camp Fire Girls and Boys and American Heritage Girls. The purpose of the Mass is to celebrate scouting and to acknowledge scouts who have earned religious emblem awards. Scouts and leaders are encouraged to wear uniforms. A brief reception will follow.
