Thanks to diocese

To the Editor:
I would like to say thank you to Bishop Martin Amos, Msgr. John Hyland and to the clergy and religious of the Diocese of Davenport for reaching out to me in my time of illness. Also, for asking the faithful of the diocese to remember me in their prayers. The outpouring has been unbelievable and I just felt the love and care that came from southeast Iowa. I am making progress with my rehabilitation.
My last prayer in the evening and the first prayer in the morning are prayers of thanksgiving for the love and support of the Christian community. God bless you for your love.
