FORT MADISON — The Keokuk Deanery of the Diocese of Davenport invites people to “Sparking the Spirit” at Holy Family Parish’s McAleer Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 6:30 p.m.
The guest speaker will be nationally known presenter and retreat leader Jacquelyne Witter, who will speak on the new evangelization and the Year of Faith. Pope Benedict has declared October 2012 through November 2013 the Year of Faith. A light meal will be served beginning at 5:45 p.m., with the program running from 6:30–8:30 p.m.
There is no charge for the event, but make reservations by Oct. 15 for the meal and evening at mtpleasantstaldre@diodav.org.
