Davenport — People are invited to the “Life in the Spirit” seminar at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. from July 5 to Aug. 23. An explanation and sign-up session with Msgr. Marvin Mottet is Thursday, June 21, from 7–8 p.m. in the church’s gathering space. This seminar will be presented by members of the Blessed Trinity Prayer Group consisting of parishioners from Bettendorf and Davenport parishes. Fee is $10. Babysitting will be provided. Davenport – A healing Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 14, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 10th and Iowa streets. Confessions start at 6 p.m., praise music at 6:40 p.m., and Mass at 7:15 p.m. All are welcome.
Davenport — Sacred Heart Cathedral is celebrating Saturday night Mass at 5 p.m. through Sept. 1. The sacrament of reconciliation will be offered an hour before, at 4 p.m. During the fall and winter months, Saturday night Mass will be held at 4 p.m.
