Sr. Ann Patrice Durr, BVM


Sister Ann Patrice Durr, BVM, 95, died Oct. 7 at Marian Hall, Dubuque.  

In the Diocese of Davenport, Sr. Durr taught and was superior at St. Mary in Iowa City from 1958–61. She also taught in Chicago and DeKalb, Ill.; Kansas City, Mo.; Glendale, Calif.; and Milwaukee, Wis.

She was born in Chicago on Oct. 27, 1915. She entered the Sisters of Charity, BVM congregation on Sept. 8, 1932, from St. Pius Parish, Chicago. She professed first vows on March 19, 1935, and final vows on Aug. 15, 1940.

Funeral was slated for Oct. 12. Burial is in the Mount Carmel cemetery.
