Allison Haw’s fourth-grade class recently completed a friendly letter writing unit.
The students wrote friendly letters to soldiers in Afghanistan. Haw received names from Sarah Johnson, Seton’s preschool associate, whose husband is serving in Afghanistan.
The fourth-graders were enthusiastic about writing their letters to the soldiers. To go along with their letters, the students colored patriotic pictures. The children enjoyed the opportunity to show how much they appreciate what the soldiers are doing.
