The middle-school student council took part in a shoebox-stuffing party for Operation Christmas Child. The ministry is an effort of Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid worldwide.
In the project, shoeboxes full of personal hygiene items, schools supplies, toys, books and other goods are sent to less fortunate children in other countries. Notre Dame filled 135 boxes, exceeding its goal of 100 boxes.
