DAVENPORT — Goodies and Gifts is the theme for the 2010 St. Paul the Apostle Holiday Bazaar. The bazaar will be held Nov. 20 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Nov. 21 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Parish Center, 916 E. Rusholme St., Davenport.
The bazaar features a wide array of food and handcrafted items including artisan wine bottle cheese trays and 18-inch doll beds. Homemade baked goods, boxes of Christmas cookies, fruit pies, cakes and the ever-popular puppy chow will be available for sale. New this year is homemade candies. Stock up for Thanksgiving with a pumpkin pie and freeze the cookies for the Christmas holidays!
While you are shopping on Saturday, a homemade lunch of soup and sandwich will be served; coffee and homemade cinnamon rolls will be available on Sunday.
Raffle tickets are available for one of three baskets: a cash basket, a grocery basket and an evening-on-the-town basket.
