I am writing to respond to your recent editorial regarding the Oklahoma law that requires a woman to view an ultrasound of her unborn baby before an abortion can be performed.
As you stated in your editorial, requiring the father of the baby to watch the ultrasound would be worthy of support. However, since the Catholic Church condemns abortion it would seem that a Catholic publication would support any law that might save the life of one baby. Please do not filter Catholic doctrine through political correctness. It certainly does not help the pro-life cause when you manufacture bullets for the other side to shoot us.
