There is great collaboration at Bishop Hayes, especially with kindergarten and fifth grade. Kindergarten students each have their “reading buddy” — a fifth-grader — who visit their classroom every two weeks and reads with them.
The partnership promotes learning, role modeling, socialization and that true sense of guidance and helpfulness.
