All Bishop Hayes kindergarten to fifth-grade students signed a pledge to have healthy teeth on the dental health board in February.
Jessica Ingstad, resource/enrichment teacher, visited all classes to talk about nutrition and teeth. She provided activities, videos and experiments showing how bacteria can affect enamel. Every child received a toothbrush and informational pamphlets for parents.
