“The 3-year-olds have been learning about things we can see in the sky and the differences between day and night,” said Norma Morrison, teacher for 3-year-old program. “We are making a counting books of stars, ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Count the Stars.’ We also planned to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and those tricky leprechauns will come and mess up our room, but they will forget their gold! After spring break, we will learn about zoo animals and go on a bear hunt. We have learned that Lent is a special time when we think more about God. We made mobiles to remind us to pray all day.”

In the 4-year-old program, “We have been up to a lot of fun and exciting things this year,” said teacher Betsey Clements. “Last month we went on a field trip to the Environmental Learning Center to learn about animals in winter. We were also able to see an exhibit with live animals. Next month is going to be exciting because we are going to learn about Easter and having our Easter celebration. In May we will go to library to learn about prairies and woodlands. A guest speaker will talk to us, and we will do some great activities.”
