Trust in the Lord with all your heart

Dear Paul and Maggie Kim,
I read the article in The Catholic Messenger and cried (1/8/2026 issue, Page 7). Your family’s faith and courage is amazing.
I come from a family of eight boys and nine girls. We never had many material things, but God gave us an amazing mother who was the greatest in the world, who taught us to be givers. She was amazing.
Out of 17 of us, we have three girls and three boys left. She always put us first. I couldn’t have asked for such an amazing mother. I thank God every day for her love, support and kindness.
I am so sorry for you are amazing people with love. I lost my dear husband of almost 58 years, two years ago, but I have never been angry with God. I thank him every day for great years we had together and for the four wonderful children and grandchildren we have.
