Chastity Project co-founder Jason Evert will speak at two diocesan parishes in September.
St. Patrick Parish in Iowa City will host Evert for a “double feature” presentation on Sept 10. Purified, a chastity presentation for teens, parents and adults, will take place from 4:30-6 p.m. After a one-hour break for dinner, the program will resume at 7 p.m. with “Theology of Your Body,” a presentation about the meaning of sex and the human body in the context of the Catholic faith. Reconciliation and eucharistic adoration will take place from 8-8:30 p.m. Cost is $20 through Aug. 15 for guests purchasing tickets via cash or check through the parish office.
