Season of Creation Prayer Gathering Thursday, September 16, 12:00 – 1:00 PM
September 1, the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, began the Season of Creation, which runs through the Feast of St. Francis on October 4. This time gives us an opportunity to pray for our common home and our neighbors who are adversely affected by extreme climate events, to learn more about care for God’s creation and to act in the best interest of all. On Thursday, September 16 at noon, the Social Action Office will host a prayer gathering so we can come together in solidarity and prayer to care for God’s creation.
