Duoc “Dominic” Nguyen, Isaac Doucette and Cameron Costello, seminarians for the Diocese of Davenport, were installed into the acolyte ministry Jan. 20 at Immaculate Conception Chapel at Mundelein Seminary in Mundelein, Ill. Bishop Bernard Edward Shlesinger III, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, presided at the liturgy. The seminarians have now received both the ministry of lector and acolyte in anticipation of their diaconal, and then priestly, ordination.
