March for Life bus

Book your passage on a bus to participate in the March for Life Chicago event scheduled Jan. 11.

Due to requests to attend the one-day event, the “reserve your place on the bus” campaign continues through the rest of November, said Charlene Merritt, an organizer for the annual Black & White Gala.

The Jan. 11 event at Daley Plaza kicks off with a rally at 1 p.m. and the march to follow.

Bus travelers participate in the one-day event and do not stay overnight. Chaperones must accompany minors. Families and individuals may choose to drive to the event and “connect with us in Chicago,” Merritt said.

Funds from the Black and White Celebration of Life (gala) will provide for three buses (each with about 30 seats). That reduces the cost to $15 per person.
