DAVENPORT — Adults will have an opportunity to jump-start their faith during the Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference this year. A Catholic Parent Revival (CPR) will take place Nov. 19 from 9:30 a.m.–4 p.m. at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, coinciding with the first day of the conference.
CPR will focus on revival, motivation and support for parents who are trying to raise children in the Catholic faith. In the morning, parents will join the high-school-age youths in the opening session and first keynote of the Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference (DCYC). After lunch, parents will move to Christ the King Chapel where they’ll hear inspirational messages, reflect on and share their journey as parents alongside other parents, and have time for personal prayer.
CPR is open to all parents, not just those of DCYC participants.
The cost for the day is $25 per person or $35 per couple if registered before Nov. 15 (includes lunch) and an additional $5 at the door (but with no lunch). If parents want to return to attend any other parts of DCYC, they are welcome to do so for the cost of additional meals.
The information on CPR is available at www.davenortdiocese.org/cpr.
