To the Editor:
On behalf of the Fort Madison Parks and Recreation Department, I want to thank the Catholics In Action youth group for picking up the debris along the riverfront, painting the railing along the walkway on the Riverview Dock and weeding the flowerbeds in Riverview Park.
The enthusiasm and commitment to this project demonstrated by the members of the Catholics In Action youth group will have a lasting impression on our community. Nearly 100 Catholic youths (incoming freshman through graduating seniors) and their adult leaders worked together for three days of service. For this, we thank you!
