To the Editor:
I support legal immigration with vetting of those who are escaping horrific situations. My question to the Iowa City Deanery’s statement (The Catholic Messenger 12/24/15) is how they feel about those who cross our southern borders without documentation? From past comments by some signatories, it is apparent illegal immigrants get a free pass.
