Once more the archives of The Catholic Messenger have proved useful. Nov. 3 we celebrated the anniversary of the death of Father Joseph Kahn.
In the 10 years he served in the Diocese of Davenport, the Vietnamese community at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Davenport, I had gotten to know him only by sight. As I remember the priests of the diocese on the anniversary of death I am especially interested in the lives of the ones I did not know well. The archives of The Catholic Messenger gave a nice remembrance of him and his obituary. Thanks for making the archives available to us online.
