CORALVILLE — John Paul II Medical Research Insititute (JPII MRI) is hosting a presentation, Affirming Life Through Ethical Medical Research, Oct. 29 from 7-8 p.m. at the Bioventure Center, 2500 Crosspark Rd.
Members of JPII MRI will share their mission to conduct medical research focused on developing cures, therapies and drug treatments — all which respect the dignity of human life. Guests will learn how JPII MRI is dedicated to developing ethical medical research technologies that advance drug discovery and regenerative medicines for many diseases; to learn how advancements in adult stem cell research have led to the development of new cures and therapies; to learn how embryonic stem cells and aborted cell research contribute to the culture of death and are unnecessary in the fight for finding cures; and learn how the public can promote and support medical research that protects the dignity of all human life.
