To the Editor:
Are there any employees at any of the Davenport Diocese parochial schools, parishes or other diocesan places of employment who are being paid minimum wage?
I ask because when I see a Quad-City Times article with the headline of “Catholic bishops urge raise in Iowa’s minimum wage,” I sure hope we are leading by example (i.e., not being hypocritical and actually paying minimum wage to some of our own employees).
