MUSCATINE — Light House Media and the Holy Land Military Rosary are forming a partnership aimed at helping distribute the thousands of rosaries being created each year.
“This partnership with Light House Media is an important part of this ‘puzzle’ of how to efficiently send the Holy Land Military Rosary around the world,” said diocesan priest Father Bill Kneemiller, founder of the Holy Land Military Rosary project. Light House’s The Capodanno Ministry mails complementary Catholic supplies to military chaplains around the world.
Joe Alger, a representative for Catholic Light House Capodanno Ministry, will meet with rosary makers at Ss. Mary & Mathias Parish March 11 at 3 p.m. Ghassan Sahouri, a representative for Little Belthlehem, which represents 200 families living in the Holy Land who make olive wood crucifixes for the Holy Land Rosaries, will meet with benefactors of the Holy Land Military Rosary project at 4 p.m.
Fr. Kneemiller said the partnership will help outreach, but the overwhelming goal of the project is simply to promote the praying of the family rosary.
