Jeanne Wonio has been elected vice president of the Iowa Right to Life Board of Directors.
Wonio, respect life coordinator of the diocesan social action board and a parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Davenport, has been active in pro-life ministry in the Davenport area for more than 35 years. She has been involved in the Quad City Right to Life, Women’s Choice Center and other pro-life ministries in the area.
She has been active with Iowa Right to Life since 2009 and has been serving on the board of directors since 2010. Iowa Right to Life Executive Director Jenifer Bowen said the organization has been “thrilled” with her involvement.
Wonio’s one year term will begin in July 2015 and run through July 2016.
