Davenport — Humility of Mary Housing, Inc. (HMHI) is hosting its fall semi-annual Fresh Start Benefit Sale Oct 17-18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale is located at the HMHI office and donation center at 3805 Mississippi Ave. Donations of gently used or new items including housewares, bedding, toys, jewelry, furniture, books, games and clothing can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Whatever can be used to furnish apartments or be used by the HMHI families will be sold at the sale, with money going toward the purchase of beds and dressers and other program needs.
