Pella — Kenyan-native Father Charles Gituma and more than 20 Catholics from throughout the Diocese of Davenport will be going on a mission trip to Kenya in 2015.
To help offset costs of the trip, two fundraisers will be taking place next month at St. Mary Church in Pella.
A spaghetti supper will be served Aug. 1 from 5:30-7 p.m. Cost is $10 per person
A mother-daughter tea will take place Aug
9 from 1-3 p.m. Petit fours and refreshments will be served. Tickets are $20 per duo, and $5 for additional guests; guests need not be related. IlaMae Hanisch will give a presentation. All in attendance are encouraged to wear hats.
