Davenport — A memorial service will be held at noon on June 8 at St. Paul The Apostle Church’s Blessed Mother Garden. The service is for those who have lost a baby or child due to miscarriage, accident, abuse, war, illness, abortion, stillbirth or any other reason. The prayer service will be followed by a short reception.
Memorial stones are available to be placed in the garden. A 4”x8” memorial brick with two written lines, 17 characters each line, is $20. An 8”x8” brick with 3 lines is $40. Financial assistance is available for those who wish to have a stone but aren’t able to purchase one.
