Wheatland – On May 4 from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Prairie, “Two Inspirational Popes” will be discussed by Corrine Winter of St. Ambrose University in Davenport. She will look at Popes John XXIII and John Paul II with emphasis on their exemplary lives, what they have taught us about faith and spirituality. Cost is $20.
Winter teaches Catholic/ Christian Systematic Theology (the study of church teachings, their relationships to one another, and their significance), as well as in Lay Ministry formation and Deacon Formation programs in the Diocese of Davenport. She also serves as liason with the diocese for the Master of Pastoral Theology program. She is a frequent contributor to The Catholic Messenger.
