Burlington — “Sacred Heart of Jesus, A True Love Story” will be presented by Father James Kubicki, SJ. The national director of the Apostleship of Prayer will make his presentation Saturday, Feb. 15, from 9-11 a.m. at St. Paul Church, 508 N. Rock Island, Ill. – “Remembering Jesus,” a multi-week DVD series on a Catholic approach to Alzheimer’s disease, will begin Feb. 2 at St. Pius X Catholic Church from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in Farrell Hall. A schedule of future dates will be distributed on Feb 2. Suggested donation is $5.
Newton – A free Vibrant Faith @ Home PLUS workshop will aim to give parish leaders tools to empower families to grow in faith at home. Clinton – Mercy Hospice, a service of Mercy Medical Center, needs volunteers to spend time with terminally ill patients.
