Burlington – The CAFÉ (Catholic Adult Fellowship Evening) will be open in the Notre Dame School cafeteria at 6:45 p.m. Nov. 13. Father Joseph Sia and Father Hai Dinh will discuss “Multicultures of the Church.”
Davenport — A Biblical Walk through the Mass will be offered the first Thursday of each month from November through April in the St. Anthony Parish Center from 6:30-8 p.m. The Adult Faith Formation Com­mittee is offering the five-part DVD series series so people understand what Catholics say and  do at Mass.
Davenport – The 3D movie “Jerusalem” will debut Nov. 7 at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Putnam Museum. The film tells what it means to live in Jerusalem today for three female teenagers (Jewish, Christian and Muslim), the story of Jerusalem’s past, and how Jerusalem became a holy city for half the world’s population. Tickets can be purchased at Putnam.org or by calling (563) 324-1933. Cost is $11 for adults, $10 for seniors, students, and the military, and $8 for youths ages 3–12.
Davenport — This year’s St. Ambrose University Geiger lecturer is an expert in the legacy of American warfare. On Nov. 14 at 7 p.m., Western Michigan Associate Professor of History Dean Ed Martini will present “Agent Orange and the Environmental Imaginary” in the Rogalski Center.

LITURGY/PRAYER
Davenport — A healing Mass will be celebrated Friday,   Nov. 15,   at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Confessions start at 6 p.m, praise Music at 6:30 p.m and  Mass at 7:15 p.m. All are welcome.
Davenport —  A healing Mass will be celebrated Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. at Eagles’ Wings.
Davenport —  Eagles’ Wings will host Soaking With  Purpose prayer meetings on Nov. 8 and 22 at 7 p.m. The meetings include spontaneous praise, worship and Scripture meditation.

RETREATS
Wheatland – Our Lady of the Prairie Retreat welcomes people to the following events. On Nov. 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. is Gratitude Come to the Quiet. Fee: $20. From Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. to Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. is “The Jesus I Want to Know” with Sister Sandra Weinke, SSND. Christology explains who Jesus is in a way that can be understood in today’s diverse and pluralistic world. Bring Bibles or the New Testament. Fee: $150. SOCIALS
Bettendorf – Fresco on the Vine, a Lourdes Catholic School fund­raiser, will take place Nov. 9 from 6-9 p.m. at the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish activities center. The event includes a wine and beer tasting, student art for sale, silent auction and raffle tickets. Ticket price of $40 includes a keepsake wine glass, hors d’oeuvres and live music. Tickets are available at the school or at the door.
Camanche — Church of the Visi­tation’s Altar and Rosary holiday bazaar will take place Nov. 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The event includes a quilt raffle, bake sale, silent auction, holiday items, local arts and crafts and lunch of homemade soups and hot sandwiches.
Davenport – Sacred Heart Cathedral will hold a pancake breakfast with French toast, eggs and more, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, after 9 a.m. Mass Nov. 10. Proceeds benefit the Knights and Sacred Heart Cathedral’s building plans.
Davenport – St. Alphonsus Parish’s annual craft show is Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2626 Boies Ave. There will be a raffle for a queen-size cathedral windows quilt.  Handmade lap quilts, stained glass, greeting cards, jewelry, floral arrangements, candles, baked goods and more will be sold. There will be cinnamon rolls and coffee for breakfast. Lunch will cost $5. Call Pat Sigler at (563) 343-5902 with questions or to be in the craft show.
Davenport – Our Lady of Victory Youth Ministry is hosting a family bus trip to downtown Chicago on Nov. 30. There are 56 seats available and the cost per seat is $25. This trip is open to anyone. To sign up, contact Tommy Fallon at davolvym@diodav.org or (563) 391-8384.
Muscatine – Knights of Columbus Council 1305 will hold its fourth annual beef and noodles dinner on Nov. 10 to raise funds to provide Thanksgiving dinners for local families in need. The event is at Gannon Hall at St. Mathias Church from 4-7 p.m. Last year over 400 people received Thanksgiving dinners thanks to this project.
North English – St. Joseph Parish’s Altar & Rosary Society will be sponsoring a salad luncheon and silent auction Nov. 9 at 11:30 a.m. in the church hall.  Bidding will follow the luncheon.
Riverside – St. Mary Parish invites people to a pancake breakfast to raise funds to repair the church steeple. The event  will take place Nov. 10 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parish. Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children ages 5-10, and free for children younger than 5. The morning includes a bake sale.
West Branch – St. Bernadette Parish’s soup supper and bake sale is Nov. 10, with serving from  3-7 p.m. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 3 to 10, and free for children 2 and younger.  Carry-out is available. There will be a quilt/themed basket raffle.
