To the Editor:
Be forewarned: The survey instrument on the Diocese of Davenport’s website doesn’t much resemble — in form or substance — the questions described in the opinion piece “An opportunity to reflect on being Catholic” by Frank Wessling (The Catholic Messenger, Nov. 14).
I was struck by the clarity of the questions that were posed in the opinion piece and why they weren’t similarly posed by the diocese. In fact, when I first read the diocesan survey I wondered if I had possibly opened the wrong web link.
