DAVENPORT – Humility of Mary Housing, Inc. (HMHI) invites people to its semi-annual Fresh Start Benefit Oct. 18 and 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the HMHI office and donation center at 3805 Mississippi Ave. This sale offers gently used or new items including house wares, bedding, toys, jewelry, furniture, books, games and clothing.
Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. There is a great need for single beds, dressers and sofas.
HMHI assists single parent families experiencing homelessness. The organization offers opportunities for growth and development that lead families into self-sufficient living.
