Justice is kept on the sidelines while we wait for Congress to adopt needed reforms in our immigration laws. A compromise bill is being held up as different factions continue to push their priorities: a secure border, jobs, “amnesty,” a path to citizenship. Some of this continuing so-called debate in Congress is simply obstruction and delay in hope of killing the entire effort. Members of Congress need to hear from voters.
