Eldon Thomas

After years of prayer and searching, Eldon Thomas believes he’s found a spiritual home in the Catholic Church.
The 64-year-old looks forward to receiving sacraments of initiation along with five other people during Easter Vigil at St. Mary Church in Albia. Thanks to the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) he’s gaining an understanding of religion, which he appreciates being able to share and discuss with like-minded people.
The process marks a new stage of a journey of faith that Thomas began while growing up in Grand River in south-central Iowa.
