Davenport – Quad Cities Interfaith’s 2012 public meeting will take place Oct. 25 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish Center. Local congregations will bring up issues to be addressed, re-kindle their commitment to building strong congregations and develop strategies to work together in 2013.

WORKSHOPS
Iowa City – Choir directors and members, accompanists, cantors, and anyone involved in music ministry are invited to a workshop Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Patrick Church. For the first hour, the workshop will focus on selecting music for the liturgy. For the final two hours, accompanists will meet in one group and cantors/singers in another to work on their ministries. Faculty for the workshop will be Patti McTaggart of St. Mary Parish, Iowa City, and David Pitt of Loras College, Dubuque.Cost is $10 at the door.
