DAVENPORT – On June 8, people will gather in prayer and public witness across the United States to oppose the Health and Human Services mandate that employer health plans cover contraception, sterilizations and abortion-inducing drugs.
One of the Stand Up for Religious Freedom rallies will take place in Davenport at the Federal Building, 131 E. Fourth St., at noon on Friday. Speakers will include Dr. Karla Polaschek, Maggie Schoonmaker, Joseph Hebert, Father Thom Hennen and Pastor Tony Liston.
