SAU commencement ceremony

DAVENPORT — St. Ambrose University will hold its spring commencement ceremony beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at the i wireless Center, 1201 River Drive, Moline, Ill. Seating is open with no tickets required. The public is invited. Students or guests needing special accommodations should contact the Student Disabilities Services office at (563) 333-6275.
A total of 708 candidates for graduation include 475 bachelor’s degree students, 225 master’s degree students and eight doctoral degree students. The following commencement events will take place on the St. Ambrose campus unless otherwise noted:
• May 11, 5:30 p.m., master’s degree hooding ceremonies. College of Business will be in Christ the King Chapel; and College of Arts and Sciences and College of Health and Human Services joint ceremony will be in Galvin Fine Arts Center. A reception for all master’s degree recipients will take place immediately afterwards in the Rogalski Center.
• May 11, 8 p.m., nurse pinning ceremony will take place in Galvin Fine Arts.
• May 12, 9 a.m., commencement Mass in Galvin Fine Arts Center. All graduates, families and friends are welcome, regardless of faith.
• May 12, 10 a.m., brunch in the Rogalski Center Ballroom. Cost is $7.50 for adults, $4 for children ages 6–12, children age 5 and under will be admitted for free. Advance ticket purchase is required. All graduates, families and friends are welcome. Tickets may be purchased online or by mail.
• May 12, 1 p.m., commencement, i wireless Center.
