DAVENPORT — Parishioners from Catholic parishes of Scott County are invited to join with the Knights of Columbus, Loras Council No. 532, for their annual Memorial Day Mass on May 28 at 9 a.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 804. E. 39th St. Rain site is St. Paul the Apostle Church, 9:30 a.m.
Bishop Martin Amos will be the main celebrant and homilist. Various priests and deacons of Scott County will participate at the Mass. The other KC councils of Scott County are invited to participate. The Mass will be held at the Priests’ Circle in the cemetery. People should arrive early for parking.
A roll call for Knights who have died since last Memorial Day from Council No. 532 and other KC councils will be read as will a roll call of priests and deacons of the Davenport Diocese who have died in the past year.
