The Social Action Office of the Diocese of Davenport is accepting grant applications for the local share of funds from the 2012 Operation Rice Bowl collection. Deadline is May 31.
Operation Rice Bowl grants are awarded to non-profit organizations working in the diocese to alleviate poverty and hunger in local communities. Groups requesting grants must conform to Catholic Social Teaching.
