To the Editor:
Starting on a happy note, The Messenger has done a beautiful job honoring Msgr. Marvin Mottet. He is a very special spirit.
Likewise, I believe Father Richard McBrien is a brave and special spirit who dares to tell the truth. Fr. McBrien encourages people to think and not act like passive sheep. I will greatly miss his column and pray for his return to good health.
I thought Catholics were Christian. Bonnie’s words in the Feb. 2 edition of the paper were anything but Christian.
