After completing a week of learning about the Wild West and cowboys of long ago, Sept. 9 was Rodeo Day for first-graders. Children came to school dressed as cowboys and cowgirls. They spent the day lassoing steers, having horse relays, eating cowboy trail mix and doing other fun activities.
