A student’s view: The difference between teacher, kid

Facebooktwittermail

A fourth-grade writing project was to write a paragraph contrasting two things. The paragraph below contrasts a kid and a teacher (through the eyes of a fourth-grader).

“Do you want to learn the difference of a kid and a teacher? A teacher knows everything and a kid doesn’t know much. While a teacher has a job, a kid doesn’t. A teacher grades the work while the kid does the work. A teacher has lots of money and a kid has little money. A teacher has their own house; a kid doesn’t have their own house. A teacher is old and tall while a kid is short and young. Also a teacher has gray hair and a kid has colorful hair. That’s the differences of a kid and a teacher.” — Gabe
