Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial for Kenneth R. Palkoner, 37, a resident of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 4105 N. Division St., Davenport.
Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main St., downtown Davenport. A prayer service will be offered at 6:30 that all are invited to attend. Ken died Thursday, August 25th at his home.
Kenneth Richard Palkoner was born September 19, 1973 in Elgin, Illinois, the son of Dennis and Ruth (Klepfer) Palkoner. He was united in marriage to Tanya Maggio on October 6, 2000 in Davenport. Ken graduated from Pleasant Valley High School. He was employed at Olderog Tire Sales in sales management for the past 19 years.
Ken was an accomplished guitar player and enjoyed fishing and camping with his family and friends in his free time.

He is survived by his wife Tanya, children Kaytlyn, Anthoney and Ryan, all at home, his parents Dennis and Ruth, Bettendorf, sisters and brothers-in-law, Tricia (Scott) Moody, Marrietta, GA, Kristen (Cory) Yager, Woodstock, GA, his grandmother Clara Palkoner, Bettendorf, nieces and nephews Brandon, Madison, Hailey and Taylor.
